Celebrating the Launch of Our New Curtain Bank!

We are thrilled to share a significant milestone with you—our brand-new Curtain Bank is officially open! 🎉 This community initiative is designed to provide much-needed curtains to whānau/families who need them most. At WISE, we believe that everyone deserves a warm, comfortable home, and our Curtain Bank is a big step towards making that a reality.

Here’s how it works: we collect pre-loved curtains from generous donors, and then our amazing Curtain Bank Coordinator, Russ, along with a team of dedicated volunteers, refurbish them to ensure they’re in perfect condition. These curtains are then distributed to homes across our community, helping whānau create warmer, more energy-efficient living spaces.

We couldn’t have made this happen without the incredible support and funding from Toi Foundation. Their continued support has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life, and we are beyond grateful.

This project has been years in the making, and we’re overjoyed to finally share it with our community. A huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey—your contributions, time, and effort have made this possible!

We’re so excited to have the Curtain Bank up and running, and we’re confident it will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many. Thank you for being a part of this exciting journey with us! ❤️
