Pyjama Drive
WISE runs an annual Pyjama Drive from May to July every year to collect new or good quality second hand pyjama’s. Second hand pyjama’s are washed and dried and sorted to be matched with a new pair of pyjama’s. Every taramaiki will receive 2 pairs of pyjama’s – one they will fit this year and one they can grow into next year. They will get a new and second hand pair.
Stationary Drive
WISE runs a stationary drive where we accept stationary donations or monetary donations to purchase stationary for 3 schools around Waitara.
This will go towards those whanau at the selected schools who struggle with purchasing stationary for their tamariki.
Toy Drive
WISE runs an annual Toy Drive during November and December every year to collect new toys to gift to children in our Healthy Homes Initiative program.
Often the whanau a part of our Healthy Homes Initiative may struggle around the holiday season so we take this as an opportunity to put a smile on these tamariki’s faces.
Blanket Drive
WISE runs a Blanket Drive during winter to collect new or good quality second hand blankets to take to our Healthy Home assessments.
