Looking back on 2023

Don’t mind us just reminiscing on 2023 and what a year it was! 🤩 In 2023 we created warmer, drier, healthier and more energy efficient homes for families/whanau/aiga through our Healthy Homes Initiative and Free Home Insulation Program.

This year through our community initiatives we focused on education by donating stationery to three schools around Waitara, ensuring students with limited resources receive the tools they need. Additionally, we distributed 2,170 pairs of pyjamas across Taranaki as well as receiving 275 toy donations which were distributed to whanau across Taranaki.

Our dedicated volunteers, led by Shimmie, worked tirelessly to harvest crops three times a week for the Waitara Food Bank, providing essential resources to those in need. We also had many corporate teams come out to complete community days in our garden making it to bloom!

We thank everyone who supported WISE by donating and volunteering across all of our initiatives! We had an amazing response to all our initiatives and we are forever grateful 🥰Another thank you to to our amazing funders for their continued support with our Insulation, Healthy Homes Initiative, Landcare/Cleaning and The Junction. We truly wouldn’t have had a successful year without your support for our organisation over the last 12 months, we are truly grateful ❤️
